:( a while back my wife was with a friend who was shplifting and they were both arrested.
she was told by the judge to stay out of trouble for 6 months, go to a class and show proof of the completion and the case will be sealed and dismissed. as part of the arrest process she was fingerprinted to check for priors. I am aware that being fingerprinted is a part of the immigration process. my questions are:
1>will the arrest affect her chances of acceptance?
2> being that it will be dismissed and sealed do we have to answer "yes" to "have you been arrested and covicted of a crime?" (she did not have to plead guilty or not guilty) ?
3> should we wait until after the 6 months to file?
4> what is the best thing to do for our situation?

your advice is greatly appreciated, thank you:)What is the name of your state?
