Friend moving to Ohio

What is the name of your state? Ohio My friend will soon be coming to Ohio from Belgium. She is Belgium. She wants to become an American citizen. We both have no clue about how or what she has to do. What does she need to do when she gets here? What paperwork will be required from her? How long does the process take? Does she need to get a lawyer to do this? Thanks.

Well, as your FRIEND, there is nothing that she can do in order to gain any type of status. Are you her boyfriend, fiance, etc? Are you thinking of getting married to her? There is no way for her to get any type of status in the US unless it is through family-based petition (including marriage-based) or through an employment-based petition on the basis of a valid job offer.
