    Question H-1B question

What is the name of your state? IN

Currently I am working at Company A under a H-1B. Company B wants to hire me but my passport is expired and it is sent out to get renewed. Because of the complexity of the process for me (male Korean), it will take a long time to do.

Do I need a valid passport to have my H-1B transferred.

    Thanks

No, your passport is not necessary to have the new company file a H-1B petition on your behalf.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if I may be of further assistance to you in this matter.
    Thanks,
