I had applied for my H1 visa on June 27th
and received the approval on Oct 27th. But it came along with a denial
letter stating clause 8CFR 248.3(g) for the denial of COS.,change of status. I
was previously on H4 visa. I went to my home country on Sep 2nd till Oct
15th for unavoidable reasons. that is the duration of the processing of my
change of status.
Now I am not sure whether i am authorised to work in US.
1) whether i am authorised to work in US.
2) If not, what are the steps to be taken to be legally working in the
country. Can anything be done staying in United States or Will I have
to go to my home country.
3) can i apply for my SSN
4) what status i am currently on?
