I was in F1 visa and on-campus-working for a non-profit hospital as a part-time research assistant. They finally supported me a H1b visa with
Starting Validity Date: 12/31/08, as shown on the i797.
However, because it takes sometime to process the paper work and post the position - data analyst. My actual start day is Feb 16th today.
It seems like I am in trouble because during the period of 12/31/08-02/15/09, I still worked as a part-time research assistant, not the data analyst.
They hint me if I travel aboard to get the h1b visa stamp and come back, no concern will arise. Is it true? or actually I don't need to worry about the above situation?
