How can I get the H1B approval notice from the old employer

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I never received the H1B approval notice from my employer though it was approved and sent by USCIS. I changed 2 jobs after that. Now I am going through green card process with a new company and the attorney to the new company is insisting on getting it. Since my old employer is not providing me the approval notice, is there anything I can do to get this? Can hiring a lawyer to handle this case will help?

Thanks

YOu already have an attorney. Have the attorney contact the old employer and try to obtain a copy of the approval notice.
