How long???

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Iowa

My husband and I were married 6/8/08. We hired an immigration attorney and filled out the propper application/paperwork to begin the process of legalization. In Dec of this year he was assaulted and taken charged with public intoxication...and subsequently is now awaiting deportation. He is going to court next week and wants to sign for his voluntary deportation. What do we do next? Will we have to apply all over again with immigration or can we just start where we left off? This whole thing has been a nightmare

So why don't you talk to the attorney you hired to assist with his immigration matter?
