NY state

My wife came here two years ago as a student. We met last year and got married in April 2007 at the city hall. We submitted the I-130 Petition for Alien Relative in mid-May along with an application for temporary parole (allowing out of country travel) and various other documents such as requests for employment authorization. We were originally planning to return to her home country to have the religious wedding during the summer of 2008. We have changed our minds and want to go this summer. Is this possible? Will she be allowed to return to the US? She still has her F-1 student visa status. How long will it be before she can travel?
