L2/EAD validity

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Texas,

Hi,

Iam on L2 visa and i have an EAD to work in US. My husband is on L1 visa. His current project is getting over now and he has to go back to India in a weeks time. I have got a job now and my employer wants me to join with my EAD and once i join my employer would sponsor me H1. Can i stay and Work with my EAD for 10-15 days till my employer files HIb for me in my husbands absence? I will have to work with l2/EAD for 10-15 days in my husbands absence in US.Please advise me on this as early as possible.

Your L-2 status and the EAD that go with it terminate the day your husband's L-1 status ends.
You probably should have started sooner.

What if he maintains the L1 status by staying with the same company.

It sounds to me as if you should consult with a lawyer to make a solid plan.

Your current status is completely dependent on your husband's status.
