My wife is currently on L2 visa and has applied for SSN
Recently I read a post where it was said L2 visa holders dont have to get EAD card for working in USA. If the L2 visa holder has a SSN number that would be enough for employment in USA.
Even when I visited USCIS I couldnt find I-765 form which is required for L2 EAD
Appreciate if you can throw some light on the above statement published in some blogs
Thanks

A Social Security number is NOT enough for employment in the US.
L-2 spouses may apply for an EAD and work. L-2 children may not.
L-2 spouses may apply for a SSN without an EAD.
Form I-765 is located at uscis.gov
