I am an IT professional working for a Bank in Iowa as a contractor. My EMployer is in Chicago and they do not have any branch in Iowa. My Employer has applied for my Labor Clearance first stage of Green Card in RIR EB2 process. I have a Masters Degree from University oF TOledo OH in Computer Science.And yesterday we heard back from the Chicago Central Labor Clearance people(NOt State) that my wages are way below the wages required by Chicago Labor Department which is 96K(Chicago's labor Department requirement). Can you please tell me what are the options I have now. Is there a possibility that they can re apply in EB2 RIR from IOwa rather than Chicago, because I work in Iowa though my employer do not have a branch in Iowa, in that way my wages would match with the Iowa state wage requirements. Or do you think is there any other option other than reapplying in Regular process from Chicago.
