    Cool LPR to US citizen time span?

    What is the name of your state? New York City

    Hello,

    I'd like to know the time span for Legal Permanent Residence to become a US citizen.

    I must file papers in August to become a US citizen and I'd like to know how long it would take from the time I send them in till I get citizenship?
