What is the name of your state? NJ

Hello, thanks for all your advice - I finally sent out my N-400 application today. How long does it usually takes from begginning to end, assuming my application is approved, meaning fingerprints, the test, the oath ceremony etc.
I know I can travel while my application is pending but do I need to apply for a parole or something or I can just go and come back?
Thank you

The length of the process depends on where you are. In most places, it is going to be between 6 and 18 months but if you get stuck in security clearance checks, it could potentially take longer. You only need a valid passport and your green card for return to the US after international travel. Depending on where you are traveling, you may need a visa to enter that country.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or how I can be of further assistance to you in this matter.
