What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TN

I'm getting conflicting information heading to an N336 hearing. One attorney said that they are not allowed to speak on behalf of client, so no need to have an attorney present. Another attorney said I need a legal council present.
Can anyone shed a light on this whether I need an attorney or not to go to the N336 hearing? Should I go alone?

A lawyer will shut down an immigration officer who is getting out of line and ask for a supervisor. If you've never been through one of these before, you won't know if and when the officer crosses the line.
