Need H4 visa eligibility information

Hello, my name is sar_pat. I am right now living in NJ on H1 visa status.so,I want to do application for my husbant who is living in INDIA.I wanted him to call at NJ with me.so,wheather i am eligible to call on my H1 status or not ?
If yes,what are the required documents for that? can you please reply me ? so,i can make up my mind regarding that one.

If you are in valid H-1B status and are legally married, your husband would have to present your approval notice and proof of your H-1B status and proof of your lawful marriage in order to obtain a H-4 visa abroad.
