non-resident child support x Green Card

Hi, I'm a non-resident (I mean, I'm not a legal resident) of the state of California.

I came here to live with my girlfriend, and we have been together for 1 year. Now, we broke up our relationship, and she got pregnate. She is an american citzen. We made one of those "home parental tests", it's like a DNA test, that you do by yourself at your house, and send them thematerial, and they send the results back to you. According to the results, I'm the biological father of this child.

    My question is:

    - What can I expect ?? Can I be deported, because of my situation here ??

    - Do I have any rights over my child ??

    - Can I get my papers, to be a legal immigrant, once I have an american son ??

    - What are my obligations ?

Well, what should I do now ?? Can somebody help me please ??

    I'll appreciate any help.

    Thank you,

    denisra.

I'll try to answer your immigration questions in order:
    1) Yes, if you've overstayed your visa, you can be subject to a deportation order if you're discovered to be here illegally.
    2) No idea, this is a question for family law.
    3) Nope, your son can only sponsor you once he's an adult
    4) No idea, question for family law.
