What is the name of your state? SC

For the last 4 years, I've been renewing my EAD (I765) annually while awaiting my I485 status. Wondering if there's an alternate form or something else that lasts longer than one year instead of having to go through the EAD renewal annually, especially with the new fee increase. Thanks.

No, unfortunately, there is not. If your I-485 is stuck pending security clearance checks, this is what you need to keep doing unless you want to try to sue the USCIS in Federal Court to try to expedite the I-485 adjudication.
