What is the name of your state? New Jersey

I know someone who is going to apply for citizenship, but has a question about the 'good moral character' part of the questionnaire. this person meets all the requirements except for an incident where money was stolen on this person's behalf, but there was a pre-trial intervention instead of a trial and conviction.
So this person had made arrangements to pay off the stolen money and had completed the probationary period back in october 2001 to the pre-trial intervention. so, basically we need to know what specific documents we need or if we need to disclose this information. if anyone with a green card has had a similar experience with a pre-trial intervention and later trying to file for citizenship type of experience, please relate to me any information about your experience and what you needed to do. thank you very much for any help!
