What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? - Illinois
Hi, I am considering switching companies but have not received my green card yet. So I would like to understand 1) the risks and 2) what I need to do before/after I switch companies.
Background:
My current employer is sponsoring me for a green card - category EB3, priority date in 2007, labor certification, etc. has been approved. I moved internally to a new position within the same department last year. In other words, my current job description is different than the one used to file my case few years ago. The job and department in the new company, to which I may move, is the same as my current job/department. I would appreciate your advice. Regards.
