Traveling outside the United States on OPT

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

Hi,
I am currently on OPT and have a Job too. More like an internship but the time when it ends is unknown. I intend on traveling to my country (India) for the December break. I have my EAD card along with an employment letter.
Can there be repercussions to this? Is it very risky? I have been told that there could be problems.
Also, if I take my employment letter should it hold an end date and say I am an intern? Can this issue cause some problem?

Please guide me.
Thanks in advance.

Entry into the US for a visa holder is always at the option of the immigration officer at the entry point; you may be denied entry. You may also be admitted; it is anyones guess what will happen. If you are so concerned that this will occur, don't leave.
