What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia My question is I'm a US Citizen and married a Canadian citizen woman and she gave birth to our daughter in Canada, is the child a US citizen or Canadian citizen?

Your daughter will be entitled to claim citizenship of both countries.
