It's very nice of you to try to help them, but this is a very dangerous way for your friend to get information.

Please direct them to uscis.gov where they can follow the prompts and links to the information you're requesting.

Except for the getting married in India part. There might be some information for the US citizen on the US Embassy/India websites.

Your friend should know that his future spouse cannot sponsor his family for a green card - only him. He could sponsor his family only after gaining his own citizenship. The waiting time for a USC sponsoring a sibling is very long for individuals of Indian nationality. Consequently, if he cannot move without these family members accompanying him, he needs to reconsider his marriage plans.

i think thats only possible after he gets his own citizenship and then he can sponsor close families....some people here make it seem so difficult and impossible...its really not. my uncles wife sponsored her mother-in-law and shes a us citizenship now.

but you better check the official website and see how its done.

The wait for a visa number for a sibling from India is currently 10 years.
It depends on what you call 'difficult'.
