when to apply for LPR

When can a person who came to the us as a derivative asylee through immigrant visa, can apply for LPR? USCIS website doesn't say anything on when to apply. Is there anyone who can tell me?

She is been granted asylum almost two years ago. I joined her six months ago. Hence, I've been in the US for the past six months.
