Will I be eligible for 60 days grace period after Oct 1st while my H1B is in process and my cap-gap expires on Sept 30th?
Hi, I'm on CAP-GAP right now and it expires on 09/30/2016. My H1B is picked in the lottery and I'm awaiting the approval. I was on F-1 OPT visa and as my course was not a STEM course, I was not eligible for a STEM Extension. Hence, I'm on CAP-GAP right now. I was wondering if I will be eligible for 60 days grace period after Oct 1st? Also, if not, what would be my status? Thank you!
