Will there be trouble?!?!??

What is the name of your state? CA

Lana, you helped me recently with a question about marriage and the process of becoming legal in the US.

My boyfriend and I are talking Marriage, to keep our family together, here in the US. The only issue is - My I-94 form says I need to be out of the US by the 3rd July, and we would not be getting married until November, as we are waiting his divorce to be finalized.

If I was to stay in the US until the wedding, would there be a problem with the immigration process? With finling the papers, and attending the interviews?

Oh, and would getting an immigration attorney increase our chances of a successful application?
