A visitor to the Immigration section of this forum created a thread titled "The world's worst immigration laws?" and it was a very well-written post which provided insight into the immigration policies of a few countries in the world deemed the worst out of 31 countries surveyed.
Unfortunately for our visitor, the content of his post was not written by him - and he did not have authorization from the copyright holder for publication on this site (and he never attributed the content of his post to the copyright holder).
What he quoted was an article originally published in 2012 by Global Post, an online news organization. Global Post holds all rights to the work.
As a note to the visitor: The International Intellectual Property Alliance (IIPA) has put pressure on Vietnam with its placement of Vietnam on its Priority Watch List. For a look at the IIPA 2014 report on Vietnam, the IIPA recommendations, and the efforts to date by Vietnam to halt the importation of pirated goods from China, to stop rampant copyright and trademark infringement, and to adequately punish infringers according to the IP laws of Vietnam already in place, here is a link:
