Workplace harassment is illegal when it is BECAUSE of your race, religion, national origin, gender, disability, pregnancy, BECAUSE you are over 40, or BECAUSE of any additional characteristic protected by state or local law.

If it is not BECAUSE of one of these factors, then it is not illegal harassment.
