break time on the job

What is the name of your state? nc if you are working a 12-hour shift what kind of break, or breaks, does an employer have to give you? now we get 2, 10 min. breaks and one 30 min for lunch, and have been told that we could loose both our 10-min breaks. is this legal?

I just looked it up and there are actually no laws requiring rest or meal breaks in your state. I guess you should feel lucky if you get any breaks at all. Sometimes there are county laws governing rest and meal times. Do you mind telling us your county?

i live in forsyth county, nc. got your reply, and that really sux! sorry only reply i can print. so i guess she has us right where she wants us. maybe the county makes a difference? thanks anyways
