in texas, what laws can city goverment get by with and why?
i have shown all the proof i have, to the department heads,
human resources, city managers, and i can't get anyone to
see what my employer has done to me. i have been out ill
during the last 2 and a half to three years, off and on.
this april, my doctor sent me to a specialist for sinus
surgery, i filled out all the appropriate forms. before
all this took place my employer put me on a performance
action plan, that stated if i didn't improve on my absenses,
and punctually, communication, productivity, that i would be subject to re-assignment, demotion, up to termination. they claim my absenses caused them backlog. i have to turn in a monthly report of my production, and although i was out, my production was up. they re-assigned me prior to the action plan deadline, and the result was poor production. what can i do. i have tried to inform management, that i felt harassed and to avoid termination, i resigned. i feel helpless, and now with no money and looking for a new job, i fear loosing my home, car, and a family that has been torn up by all this. i don't suppose that there are any attorney's that will help without funds, but i have been there 16 and a half years and feel i have enough documentation to prove i am right. any prayers will help.
jazbees.
