defamation

I am a pharmacy tech.
i was let go at work for economical reasons. i filed for unemloyement. nothing to do with my job performance. i got a letter from unemployement stating that"area phycicins reported reach of patient confidentiality and also stated that kristi had a whole pharmacy of drugs at home if the patients needed any. after kristi's release drugs were inventoried and several were missing." nothing of this is true and they never discussed it with me. I asked what i did wrong and they said nothing it was all ecinomial. they were only filling 20 rx's a day. they have turned me into the board of pharmacy stating that i took 21 xanax, 12 ritilan, 24 tyl #3(i'm allergic to it) 4 oz. of cough syurp. everyting i can get by a prescription from my dr. they are telling people and former employees that I am did these things. i am not a theif, i love my job to much. what can i do? i live in minnesota. i believe that they don't want to pay the umployment.
