I live in lake tahoe Ca. work on the border in Nevada. in a casino .
Basically i was verbally assalted this morning after work i had just gotten off work, while in the employee restroom .. i walked into a stall about to use the bathroom , and had the door open when a dealer who was still working at the time, just on break, said " Pick up the seat , aww come on pick up the ****in seat." i hadn't even begun .. i assumed he was joking he then began to shout " Aww you are an *******. pick up the ****ing seat . I thought you were a nice guy but you're a ****ing *******." i told him to get the **** out of here and he said for me to make him ... he then left and began shouting ... " Somebody get a ****ing mop this guys pissing all over the ****ing seat in here...you wanna clean this **** up .. " with at least 3-4 porters standing right there... i never used the restroom due to my anger and went upstairs. where a waitress told me he said the same thing yelling it up the employee stairs back out onto the casino floor for all other employee's to hear ..and im sure he told plenty of more ppl... So i was so angered by this i really wanted to physically assault him .. but did not and I will be seeing him everyday so that makes me uncomfortable knowing i will get angered thinking of the lies he said for all to hear .. So basically I want his job .. i want him fired ... are there any legitimate reasons here for me to say i will sue if he is not fired. Or what should i do ? i am embarrassed by the idea of all my co-workers hearing this and believing it to be true. .. what should i do ? mav.

Although I'm certain it was a humiliating experience, this one instance is not sufficient for you to demand his resignation. A single instance is not enough to claim harassment, and even if it did meet the definition, you do not get to determine how or whether he will be disciplined. If that's what this guy is normally like, it's unlikely that anyone believed him anyway.
