I was being sexually harassed in the work place by a coworker, I reported it and no action was taken and I was encouraged to quit. Now I am being denied unemployment benefits because they stated my reason for quitting was not work related.

File an appeal of the decision denying you unemployment benefits. Continue to certify for each week that passes until your appeals hearing.

You will need to be able to say exactly what happened, and on what dates. All the things cbg is asking you and more, with details. Who said you needed to quit? Why did you go on and quit? Did you want to keep the job, and what actions did you take to try to keep the job?

"This man's sexually harrassing me."

"No he's not, we think you ought to quit."

.. is probably not exactly the way it happened. You need to present the appeals tribunal with the whole story. You need to say that you did what you could to resolve the situation and keep your job.
