Quit a retail job in NYC a month ago due to lack of accommodations for an injury, which forced me to have attendance issues subsequently. However, my main issue was about being touched inappropriately that makes me wonder if I may have a case at all? Due to my attendance issues I was cornered to resign prematurely to taking action regarding the physical touch event. Thanks.

Please answer the following questions:

1. Did you make a formal request for accommodation?
2. If not, why not?
3. If you did ask, what was the response?
4. Was this a work-related injury?
5. Were you eligible for FMLA leave?
6. What was the nature of the touching?
7. How many times did it occur?
8. What happened when you requested that the touching stop?
9. Why did you quit?

Thank you.

Did you report it when it happened?

If you didn't you probably wouldn't be able to prove that it happened.

However, your post has a serious lack of details so it wouldn't hurt to get a free consultation with an employment attorney.
