And after many many years of seeing this, I'd also be getting my resume polished up, be thinking of changing jobs. It is very very difficult to "fix" a bad workplace. Once something like this becomes an issue, you'd be surprised how protective a parent/company owner/employer can become of their own dear darling (girlfriend, son, daughter in law, best friend from college, etc.) If it is their business, their rules, unfortunately.

If this is a good smart, company owner/employer, he will see the writing on the wall, and will listen to what you other agency employees tell him and get his daughter out of the business or try to help her improve her performance ( which in and of itself may be enough to drive you crazy!)

But your best choice in this one is pretty much to behave with professionalism, which means DO NOT allow yourself to engage too much with daughter, relate to both she and the employer maturely and professionally, and be looking like mad for another job. Only when he sees his best employees leaving him will this guy be likely to figure out that daughter is a liability to him. Going somewhere else is about the best way for you to avoid a mental breakdown, avoid the daily stresses and strains of putting up with her, hoping and praying things won't blow up today, etc.

If you are fired, you'll have the opportunity to draw unemployment benefits until you find work again, which is a lot less than what you are making and will not last long and will take a long time to get started, IF approved. If you quit the job due to the working conditions, your chances of being approved for unemployment are very very small. And there are no other labor laws that will apply, no other real protections in the law against a private company's nepotism. If he wanted to he could put her on the payroll and never make her show up for work, you might suggest that! Or he could take your job away from you and give it to her outright. But rights and protections from something like this happening, right to fair and decent treatment on the job, we don't have it, not really. Good luck to you. Maybe she'll get bored with the work world and move away!
