I took Family Medical Leave in September 2007. One of the partners flew me to my daughters state in his personal plane because I had to get there the next day. The managing partner was furious that did not give more notice. When I returned he said that I should have known that she would have surgery. The doctor told her on Monday and that's when I told them and we flew down Tuesday morning.
