My boyfriend just got a job in a hotel in texas working at the front desk. his supervisor told him that he must cut his hair above his collar in order to work there. I would like to know if an employer can make him cut his hair when they do not require the same of female employees. Can't he tie his hair back or does he even have to do this if women are not made to tie their hair back as well? Do the same grooming laws apply to both man and women equally?
