I worked as a vendor, my husband works for the same large company full time. I was hired on part time after my husband was there and his territory had gotten too big for just him. I was told by his boss that I would have to go through a temp service for only about a month then the "part time" part of the company would be up and running. After that month, I would then be an employee of my husbands company and he also offered me a full time positition like my husbands very soon. He said I was only through the temp agency for the pay and any problems I had were to go through him and the company, not the temp agency. Long story short, soon after this, I was being harassed by both employees of the place we had out products in, and a competator, another vondor, telling the stores I gave sexual favors to anyone who sold our products over his. After my first complaint to my company they told me not to tell my temp agency at all. Soon after I was told I would not be hired full time and would not get a pay raise. After the second harassment complaint, I was told I would not become a company employee because I was married to my husband. The third and fourth complaint (by this time I had 8 signed statements from witnesses) I was told that I needed to get another job if I felt like I wasnt safe in the stores we vended for. I was always told never to tell anyone excpet them about the harassment and shortly after my husband and I were finally forced into quitting before we were fired for "non exposed" reasons.

I was never given a review or a raise in 2 years
I was harassed and defamed for 2 years and logged with documents and signed witnesses to my complaints and to the harassment.
I was told to quit if I felt I was unsafe in the 15 stores I was responsible for, they said if I couldnt do my job then they needed to let me go.
They never did an investigation on my behalf

What should i do? I still have the signed statements and still hear from the witnesses who will go to court on my behalf.

The vending company thinks it is immune because you are employed by the temp agency. They didn't want you to tell the temp agency because then that agency would have had to do something because they were on notice of the possible discrimination.

Every day there are cases coming out where a temp agency and the company that employs the temp, are both being held liable for either's illegal acts.

I think you should call the EEOC and tell them your story.
