I started working on a temporary bases as a receptionist for a company that is owned by a large European company.
The manager used me to get ready of the bookkeeper that was working for them for about 5 year, every time I mention that I would quit because the bookkeeper treatment with me, my manager will came to me and tell me not to worry because he will get her fired on the right time came. They had a long time problems relationship.
After a anonymous letter been found that I knew was the bookkeeper that wrote (she asked my advice by the time she was writing the letter and I advice her not to do due to the content of the letter) she dated this letter with a date that she was not in the country, making people believe that if she was not present the other person that could be the author of this letter would be me.
After learn about this date I was forced to tell the true about my knowledge of this letter and that I knew that was she the author.
She finally got confronted and she denials at all the time, she left for a vacation and she never return to work. During and after her absence I was the one taking care of her work and my work also.
I am a college degree with a lot of experience in account due to the fact that I had in the past my own business, so I end up assuming her position and working for a long time alone handling everything at the office.
Since this I have learn that the practices of the manager and the wrongdoing is been an issue for a long time, I mean wrong doing related to the amount o checks been writing as cash to pay illegal immigrants and been reported as expenses, the use of a work force been contract as independent contractors instead of employees to avoid taxes, several others money related issues credit card use for the food for the manager
Without any justification with this charges was related to a meeting with clients or not etc..
I am talking about a small company office that the mother company recent acquires 2 big other companies in the field and kept them independent also with several offices in Florida.
The environment at my work place was never easy, all the past employees that I saw coming and going left or was obligated to quit due to the verbal abuse and sexual harassment. one of them wrote a complaint letter to the lawyer of the company indicating the she was thinking in take the comapay to court for sexual harassments.

My manager is a very difficult person and he also runs his own business in parallel with the company business, and his company is in the same line of business, he never have time he is always on hurry and always in the edge because the nature of the business involving Millions of Dolores for every single sale of our product.
Off course he knows that I know what he is up to.
Last year I was diagnostic with 3 large tumors in my uterus, when I approached him to tell him that I would like to have my 20 working days vacation plus my 10 sick days for the surgery he closed the door of my office and told me that if I leaved for all this time when I came back someone else would be in my desk, so I need the money and so far I have no decide what to do.

Recently when were in the process of intervening new candidates for the office assistant/office manager position (so far I have been working all alone their doing everything) every time he knew he had someone waiting for him to be interviewed he asked me if the person was old? Or ugly? Several times he made commentaries that my husband should change me for 2 younger girls, he hired girls for some of our company events that later he told me were sophisticated prostitutes and that was good for the clients, inclusive one of the girls right at that moment that we were speaking was with one of the richest client he has implying sexual favors for money.
He keeps pornographic material like magazines at his draws.

A recent problem was that the new employee with only 1 month after a fight with him want to quit and I got involved trying to calm her down and instructing her to talk to the lawyer of the company as that was my orders from the same lawyer, he instruct me to call him every time I suspect anything wrong was happening at the office, and to fax to him every document that arrives to the manager if a suspect that those documents was in relation to any of the wrong doings of him.
I am 40 years old and I have been working for this company for 2 years, he several times mention that we need to have young and beautiful people working for the company because old and ugly employees does not look good for the company (I am overweigh and old for him, not mention that he knows that I know too much about his private business and all the wrong doing).
He is pushing me to get fired or to quit every day more and more.

What should I do? I need to work, at my age and with this economy it is not easy to find another job. I do my work very well, I have a lot of skills, not only that a take care of the account payable and receivables I also do graphic design for the company like editing pictures with a professional software like Photoshop in order to create a marketing material for his sales and technical computer like configurations troubleshooting everything related to computer due to fact that a very good on it.
Please can anyone help me? Advice me?
