HippaWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WI I am not sure what catagory this should be under. I am off work due to an injury that did not occur at work. I am unable to drive. I was in a public place with some family and a person came over to me and asked how long I was going to be off work. I asked her how she knew and she said a co worker of mine told her. The management team is the only people I have talked to. Is this a HIPPA violation and if so what should I do. |

| It's HIPAA, not HIPPA. Almost certainly not a violation. The company talking amongst themselves about information you provided is not covered under the act.
