What is the name of your state? South Carolina

My husband is 48 years old, a diabetic and totally blind in his right eye. he has been a mechanic with a certain company for 30 years. recently he has been told that in a couple of weeks that "someone" will lose their job. he won't say outright whom, he just keeps dropping hints. he isn't being treated right. his supervisor is making sure that a younger employee is getting jobs that will guarantee his time is covered while my husband is getting jobs that make it impossible to show down time. he is afraid that if he is laid off or is fired no one else will hire him because of his disabilities. in all the time that he has been there, he has rarely been out. Can something be done about this?

If he documents the unfair job assignments, he may be able to prove that they were creating a situation in order to fire him. If so, that would be constructive termination. If he could show that the reason for it was his disability or age, he would have a good case against them for unlawful termination.
