It does not matter what the company policy is because the marriage would be legal, and termination of either marriage party because of the marriage is illegal.

Slight disagreement.

I agree that it would be illegal to fire an employee based on the fact that they are MARRIED, as opposed to single. But I am not aware of any laws saying that a company cannot have a nepotism policy.
