3)Can a manager input negative remarks on your review papers for not doing overtime and not put those same remarks on antoher employees review even though said employee did not do overtime as well?

4) If employee (A) gets trained for advancement and employee (B) is not getting trained for advancement even though employee (B) had requested to be trained in the same manner before employee (A) had started training, is this acceptable?

1. Yes.

2. Yes.

3. Yes.

4. It depends.

Just because employee B requested the training, that doesn't mean that he or she is suited for this advancement opportunity. It's possible employee A is a much better fit due to personal attributes and/or prior work experience. I don't think employee B should be left in the dark wondering why he or she hasn't been provided the training however.

As long as none of these decisons are being made on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, age, handicap, etc., then nothing prohibited is taking place.
