is the name of your state? indiana
I am an evening restaurant manager for the past year. I was promoted from waitress. I am 6 months pregnant and have been asked to return to pm waitressing instead of my management postion in order to "allow me more flexibility with my coming child". I do not want this. Can this change in position and salary be forced upon me prior to my maternity leave? It is my understanding that such a change cannot be made upon my return unless my performance were to degrade. I have been asked to train my sub for my leave but it looks like she would ultimately become my replacement
