I worked for a law firm for several years. My boss (who is the partner) continously made sexual and vulger comments to me, sent me pornography on the firm's e-mail, sent me roses on occasions during my last six months with the firm, and asked me out on dates to the movies and dinner. He also flat out asked me to have sex with him. I refused all of his advances. After I complained to both him and the firm administrator, I was fired. After I complained, he began stalking me.

During my employment, I confided in my boss regarding the issues I was going through in my divorce because he was going to handle the divorce (he had drafted the initial paperwork). However, since a custody issue came up and all our firm handled was employment law, I retained other counsel. However, when I confronted him after the harassment, he told me that if I did not continue working for him, he would share the confidential and sensative information which had occurred in my divorce with my family, husband and friends. I was in shock because I knew this information was considered privileged under attorney/client communications. I believe this man thrives on preying on women who are emotionally unstable for his own benefit. He had previously had an affair with his secretary for six months (who had just gone through a divorce) and the firm administrator informed me that she was worried about another secretary in the office she felt he might be pursuing after I had rejected him.

My lawsuit (filed in state court) was filed in October and my EEOC Charge is still pending. This man has gone to great lengths to destroy my reputation in the legal community. I've had to file a restraining order. I am currently taking medication for stress and anxiety (which I have never had to do before). He has contacted my new boss, my father-in-law, my sister, several of my best friends, my sister-in-law, my husband, and has destroyed whatever chances I had in going to law school.

My question is what can I do to stop him? It's at the point where I cannot take anymore. He is obsessed and I am scared he may try to physically hurt me. Thank you.
