This took place at my job in Haverhill, Ma.
I am looking for some legal advice. I have been working as a customer logistics coordinator for 2 1/12 years on site for a large telecommunications/ optical networking company. I am an outsourced third party logistics provider. The third party company I worked for was ok, until dec, 1999. When the person I had imput in hiring and I trained became my manager.
Since then he has taken credit for everything I have done, hired his freinds, and spiraled up the corporate ladder within our own company. which didn't really bother me too much, being the Mother of three. At that point also on a business level he still treated me fairly.
In March of 2000. The company that we are on site for our customer, chose me for thier transportation specialist. The
gentleman whom retired from the head of transportation had been there for 38 yrs. I was pleased to take over his resposiblities. I was also honored. however, the staff in my office within my company, I feel was very jealous of this choice by the customer and did everything in thier power to make it miserable for me at my job.
In 9/2000, I put my first complaint in to human resources, after my immediate boss, made his freind, who was unqualified, other than more educational backround than I, the lead person in our office. human resource sent his boss up whom told us that if we couldn't get along, he would have to make a decision, and basically it was too bad for me. I should use this as a spring board to improve myself.
On 2/18/2000, I put in another complaint, after my boss told me on his last day he was in the office, due to his reloacation, he would feel all of our breasts, and his freind the lead, a woman, told me the only reason one of the head engineers was working with me on a a project was because he was in love with me and had a hard on for me. I also as well as everyone in the office and bldg had to listen to her complain every 5 minutes everytime she would get her period, she was out sick at least 4 days a month, on the phone all day, came and go as she pleased, as well as our admin, with no hs diploma after she lied she had a ged, and had no more than an entrance exam to cosmetology school and they made her an employee. The lead also late almost every day, and left early almost every day, vulgar and sexual comments constantly to the point where it got extremely old. It took human resources almost a month to get up here. Meanwhile, my boss decided to show the other two ladies in my office an email of a guy eating some woman's poop, which I refused to look at after my complaint. Because I did not spread this around to the company that we are on site for, human resources answer to me is it is 3 against 1. They want me to come back to work, but, I have to sign a paper saying nothing was substantiated. Also, the lead that told me the engineer had a hard on for me, is now my boss! I put in a complaint on thursday 4/5/01 at the mass dept of discrimination, but I am using every personal day to seek help to see what to do. I want my desk moved at least and they won't even do that! Can somebody please help me? I have my original email to HR if needed to view.
