What is the name of your state? i am stationed North Carolina at the moment on Pope AFB. for reasons unknown to mysself...my roommate went to my first sergent and proceeded to make several very damaging accusations about me and it has had disastrous results already. first question..... can one member of the armed sevices sue another member for slander or anything else? reason for question..... i was informed by one of the pesonnel in my chain of command that suing any memeber of the armed services by another memeber was illegal. second question........if the accusations had no evidence or solid foundation would that give me a legit claim? the said roommate is the same rank and does not work in the same field as myself so we do not work together either. among the accusations was that i look at or had on my computer various types of child pornography...another was that i had had sexual relations with a minor in the past, something he would know nothing about since i just transferred to this base six months ago.. now these have had at least one result, i have been put on a unfavorable information file..which stays on my record forever...i am not sure yet what else is going to happen at this moment ...i will check back to see what you have to say...thank you
