Your employer was paying you to WORK, not SLEEP. Actually, if you weren't deducting your naptime from hours worked, you were STEALING from your employer.

Suggest that you get a job that isn't so hard so that you don't feel compelled to nap on the job.

And NO, you do NOT have a case to sue your employer.

Sleeping on the job is prohibited by 99% of employers in the US. It's perfectly legal (and extremely common) to fire someone for sleeping on the job.

No. You cannot sue. It is legal in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and all US territories to fire someone for sleeping on the job.
