Upper Management IssuesMissouri, but Manager is in California: There is a Manager within my company that has called my direct supervisor claiming I have been rude to her when she calls. I do not report to the person who is saying I was rude to her. I am a member of Management also, though of a lower rank that the person doing the complaining. The truth of the matter is, she is incredibly rude when she talks to anyone in this office. I was seeking advice as to whether or not I should contact my Attorney in regard to this person and have no further contact with her until my Attorney looks into it. Thanks! | This is a company matter. There's no legal issue involved. |

There's nothing to contact an attorney ABOUT. This co-worker being a jerk is not illegal. I'd also suggest you don't issue any directives at work about who you will and won't have any contact with - that's a good way to get yourself fired.
