I just have a question. I work for a non-profit company and over six months ago they decided to close my position and they moved me into a lesser position because they evaluated that there was no need for my position anymore.
Today I found out they will be hiring someone for the position that I previously had. They didn't let anyone know I just overheard it from one of the managers.
Do they have to give me my job back?
I was not moved because of my work.
