What is the name of your state? Virginia

Here is my question: What if your direct supervisor and their direct supervisor is/had a affair and you have been placed in the middle of it by means of a go between? You can't do your work because you are being pulled from one office to the other for what did they say meetings? Once the affair has ended you are no longer needed and start getting really bad attitude that makes it impossible to work in fact it has left you feeling targeted?

These are your options:

1. Go to someone in senior managment, relay the situation to them and see if they'll intervene.
2. Speak to either or both of the two parties, explain how you feel and see if they'll lighten up on you.
3. Do nothing.
4. Look for another job.

Nothing you describe is prohibited by law.
